Healthy cocktails: ‘Mojito’

Happy hour at Holistic life is back and this week I’m making the classic mojito.

I’ll be switching the processed white sugar and syrups for fresh fruit and coconut sugar instead. The benefits of this are; it won’t raise blood sugar levels as much and will be packed full of vitamins and minerals, while still tasting delicious!

2 handfuls of fresh mint
1 tsp of coconut sugar
2 handfuls of fresh raspberries
50ml of white rum
4 lime wedges
Top with ice and soda water

In a tall glass add a handful of mint, raspberries, rum, lime wedges and coconut sugar
Muddle mixture with a muddler or back of a spoon
Top with ice and soda water
Stir and finish with the rest of the mint.
